There are eight different parts of the human brain.
1.) The Frontal Lobe- One of the four major divisions of the cerebral cortex. This part of the brain regulates decision making, problem solving, control of purposeful behaviors, consciousness, & emotions.
2.) The Primary Motor Cortex- This is patr of the frontal lobe & is responsible for regulating voluntary movements.
3.) The Primary Sensory Cortex- This is part of the pariental lobe & processes sensory information recieved from the body.
4.) The Parietal Lobe- One of four major divisions of the cerebral cortex. This lobe recieves & processes sensory information from the body. This is also where letters from words & words combine into thoughts.
5.) The Temporal Lobe- One of four major divisions of the cerebral cortex. This part of the brainregulates memory, emotions, hearing, language, & learning.
6.) The Occipital Lobe- One of four major divisions of the cerebral cortex. This lobe prosesses information related to vision.
7.) The Cerebellum- This regulates the initation & timing of movement & is important for maintaining balance & posture. This also helps modulate the force, steadiness, & range of movement.
8.) The Brain Stem- This connects the brain & the spinal cord. it controls many basic functions including heart rate, breathing, eating, & sleeping.
The brain is reaponsible for all of your body actions, but I think the five main parts of the brain that I would have to study would be:
1.) The Frontal Lobe is responsible for your decision making.
2.) The Primary Motor Cortex is responsible for your regulating voluntary movements.
3.) The Temporal Lobe is responsible for your hearing & learning.
4.) The Occipital Lobe is responsible for your vision.
5.) The Cerebellum is responsible for maintaining balance & posture. It also helpes with you steadiness & range of movement.
