DEALING WITH DIFFICULT FEELING YOU MUST:
1.Listen without defending yourself
2.Manage negative emotions
3. Be Understanding
4.Be forgiving
5. Have Emotional honesty
6.Know Emotional needs
7.Have emotional intelligence
MANAGING NEGATIVE EMOTIONS YOU MUST:
1.Not be dramatic
2.Not wait till things build up
3.Not blame or lay in guilt trap
4.Talk about how you feel
5.Ask how the other person feels
6.Offer a way to save face ("I misunderstood you")
This adds up to you having to be more specific rather than being general. Specify the degree of the feeling it will reduce being misunderstood. Express each feeling individual when you have more than one or are mixed because this will also decrease your risk of being misunderstood.
